Strain Origin:
The lineage of Jack Frost is not well known because it’s a new variety.
Jack Frost is a cross between two very popular mushroom strains - True Albino Teacher (TAT) X Albino Penis Envy (APE).
True Albino Teacher, aka TAT, is notable because it’s an entirely albino species of Golden Teacher mushrooms. A few well-known mushroom cultivators were able to find and isolate a strain of pure white Golden Teachers, which ended up being called TAT.
Albino Penis Envy is another legendary strain that’s an albino version of the classic Penis Envy strain.
No one is too sure about who first grew Jack Frost, but some speculate a person in the mushroom community only known as Wombat. People suspect Wombat because he was one of the people who isolated TAT, so there’s a good chance he created Jack Frost as well.
