Origin & Development Dave Wombat had been cultivating the B+ strain for over two decades without observing any remarkable changes.However, around 2020, he noticed a few mushrooms exhibiting unusually dark pigmentation and a "hairy" cap texture.Intrigued, he isolated these unique specimens and, through successive cultivation, stabilized the traits, leading to the creation of the El Choco strain.
Physical Characteristics
Cap: Medium to large, exhibiting a dark brown to chocolate coloration. The caps often have a fibrillose (hair-like) texture, especially prominent in later flushes.
Stipe (Stem): Thick and sturdy, typically whitish to cream-colored, with noticeable bruising (bluish) when handled.
Spores: Dark purple-brown, typical of Psilocybe cubensis
species.
